I was looking for a Mercury Pro Kicker 9.9 EXLPT for my sons boat and was having a problem finding the one I needed anywhere. I saw online that Amherst Marine had just the motor I wanted. I made a call and spoke to Max. Max was outstanding he helped me with every question I had. He got all the info on the motor for me and made 100% sure that was what I was looking for. I live in Vermont and needed the motor sent to a dealer in NY where my son was purchasing his boat. Max arranged everything for me and the transaction was quick and painless. The motor arrived at the dealership in NY 2 days after it was shipped just as Max told me it would. In todays crazy world customer service lacks at most places and getting someone to even give you the information your looking for is an act of congress. Max went WAY above and beyond and I can not stress enough how grateful Iam for all he did. Im guessing the entire dealership is top notch. I would tell anyone who is thinking about buying something here I would have no concerns and would make the purchase. We were looking for a power bimini due to the low bridges in the lakes where we spend our summers. It is difficult to constantly be lowing and raising a manual bimini. Amherst Marine was the answer! They ordered a power bimini, received and installed it in a week's time. The tech gave suggestions that we had not thought about. It was well worth bringing the pontoon home for the service!
